• Prepositions are used to show location or direction.

• In, on, under, near, behind and in front of are prepositions.

The coffee table is in front of the sofa.

The bottle is in the box.

The dictionary is on the stool.

The dictionary is under the stool.

The chair is near the computer table.

The ladder is behind the sofa.

• This, that, these and those are demonstrative Pronouns.

• This is used to denote one thing near us.
• These is used to denote more than one thing near us.

• That is used to denote one thing away from us.
• Those is used to denote more than one thing away from us.
